I think that Number Theory is a branch of math that has to do with whole numbers, rational numbers, and integars. It deals with the different classifications that numbers can be put in to. It's a simpler form of math involved with defining word problems and dividing numbers into groups. For example, we have been learning about prime and composite numbers. These are two of the simpler types of classifications involved in Number Theory. Also, we have been learning about lcd and gcd.....That is what i think Number Theory is!
